What Is an All-Foam Mattress?
Advanced all-foam mattresses combine multiple foam layers for cushioning comfort and spine-aligning support.
All-foam mattresses are known for their full-body cushioning and contouring. They have a plush, flexible feel, and the sleep surface responds to your movements and hugs your curves.
Without springs, all-foam mattresses are quiet, and motion doesn't transfer from one side of the bed to the other. These qualities make them perfect for couples, letting you sleep uninterpreted even if your partner tosses and turns.
What makes Nolah's all-foam mattresses unique? Their exceptional pressure relief, cooling, and durability. The all-foam Nolah Original and Nolah Signature use our proprietary AirFoam™, an advanced alternative to traditional memory foam.
Memory foam gets its flexibility from viscoelastic chemicals, which have serious drawbacks: they trap heat and cause the foam to fluctuate in firmness based on the temperature. But AirFoam™ is free from these harsh chemicals and 100 percent temperature neutral. It's highly breathable and dissipates heat 20 percent faster than memory foam. As a result, it stays consistently cool and firm year-round and in any climate.
The billions of microscopic air pockets in AirFoam™ also give it its best-in-class pressure relief. The foam redistributes your weight, lowering peak pressure around sensitive areas like your shoulders, back, hips, and knees. AirFoam™ cushions your curves but lets you move freely and never makes you feel "trapped" in the mattress.
While some all-foam mattresses lack support and durability, ours excel in these areas. AirFoam™ is 300 percent more durable than memory foam. It gently contours but never sinks far enough to throw off spinal alignment. Our all-foam mattresses also have multiple high-resilience foam layers beneath the AirFoam™ for even deeper support and structure.

All-Foam Mattress Pros and Cons
Pro 1
Value: Our all-foam models are our most affordable. Enjoy a premium mattress at an accessible price.
Pro 2
Gentle Contouring: Foam mattresses move with you, adjusting to your sleep position and gently hugging your curves.
Pro 3
Exceptional Pressure Relief: AirFoam™ contains billions of microscopic air pockets that redistribute your weight and take tension off sensitive joints.
Pro 4
Motion Isolation: All-foam mattresses minimize motion transfer. If you adjust positions, your sleeping partner won't feel it on their side of the bed.

Con 1
Not Ideal for All Sleep Profiles: Stomach sleepers and heavier individuals typically need more structure and support than an all-foam mattress provides.
Con 2
Less Edge Support: Without the structure of coils, all-foam mattresses don't offer as much edge support as innerspring and hybrid models.
